The second former external BBC adviser interviewed by the panel, Caroline Daniel, says she regards the British Broadcasting Corporation with great importance and that it operates a "continuous process and lively discussion" regarding evolving and intricate topics.

"Did the BBC ready to conduct a thorough conversation and argument and take action?" she asks herself. "In my view, affirmative, they were."
