David Walliams parted ways with longtime publisher.
Prolific writer for children and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the firm stated: "After careful consideration, and with the guidance of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing additional books by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the move was taken subsequent to an review of claims about questionable actions directed at women.
The company declined to specify the reasons for its decision, adding: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."
A Prolific Literary Career
Walliams is one of the UK's most best-selling authors for kids, boasting over over six tens of millions of copies globally in 55 languages.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
A number of his titles, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into TV movies.
His bibliography includes over four dozen titles altogether, encompassing a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins this past October.
A Dual Career
His initial claim to fame came on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE in 2017 for his services to charity and the arts.
This development follows the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss in October.
